COP16 CBD will be the first Biodiversity COP since the adoption of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbd.int\/doc\/decisions\/cop-15\/cop-15-dec-04-en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) in 2022<\/strong><\/a>, which established a roadmap with 4 goals for 2050 and 23 targets for 2030 to halt and reverse biodiversity loss.<\/p>\n\n<p>As the Spanish hub of the Capitals Coalition, we are collaborating with various entities (including Business for Nature, The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, One Planet Business for Biodiversity, Science Based Targets Network (SBTN), World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and the World Economic Forum) to identify representatives from the Spanish business sector interested in attending COP16 and assist them with their accreditation application process.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you are considering attending, we encourage you to fill out our <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfSXL3-HZADYde_-rWQQx0PyIBZ5yDmwVJULlNNlecI0goZ4g\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">expression of interest form for attending COP16.<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Durante los d\u00edas 21 de octubre al 1 de noviembre de 2024, la ciudad colombiana de Cali ser\u00e1 sede de la 16.\u00aa Conferencia de las Partes (COP 16) del Convenio sobre la Diversidad Biol\u00f3gica (CDB) de la ONU.
