Given the crucial role of natural capital reserves and ecosystem services in preserving biodiversity and the ecological transition, it is essential to integrate natural capital into land development planning at all scales (local, regional, national) to meet the commitments of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

The Natural Capital and Forestry Sector Group, established within the framework of the European Interreg COMFOR SUDOE project, promotes the creation of an intelligent network to enhance the valuation systems for ecosystem services and natural capital in the countries of the Sudoe region.

Promote the application of natural capital accounting mechanisms
