How do we obtain information about you?

We obtain information about you when you contact us showing interest in our work, visit our website (www.naturalcapitalfactory.es) www.naturalcapitalfactory.es), register to receive information prepared by us such as our newsletter, complete a survey related to one of our projects, or sign up for an event that we organize or collaborate in organizing. Additionally, we also obtain your data when you are in contact with a member of the Natural Capital Factory team via email, during the course of an event, or when you are introduced by a third party.

What data do we obtain?

Personal data is information that directly or indirectly identifies a person. The personal information we collect includes your name, address, phone number, email address, and the role you play in your relationship with us, such as in events and activities of our projects in which you have participated.

If you establish a contractual relationship with us, we will obtain the financial information necessary for contract management through Ecoacsa. We also use anonymous data to understand how visitors to our websites use the site.

How and why do we use your information?

We may use your information to:

Maintain a record of your relationship with us.

— Keep you informed about possible initiatives or activities that may be of interest to you, including networks or events.

— Request your opinion or feedback on activities or products we undertake and develop alone or in collaboration with third parties.

Natural Capital Factory will retain your data as long as the relationship exists, unless you request otherwise.

Legal processing

The data protection law requires us to rely on one or more legal grounds to process your personal information. The legal basis for processing personal data changes depending on the activity for which we use it, and we consider the following to be relevant:

— Contract: We process personal data when you sign a contract with Ecoacsa related to our activity.

— Legitimate Interest: When the processing of personal data is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate interests (provided that this processing is fair and does not affect your rights).

We consider our legitimate interest to be managing the relationship of the Natural Capital Factory with people who have expressed interest in our work. We respond to inquiries about the Natural Capital Factory and our work and inform about collaboration activities that might be appropriate for your interests and location. The processing of personal data will allow the Natural Capital Factory to inform you about relevant project progress and obtain feedback on activities and results.

We will not use your personal data when our interests are overridden by the impact on you.

With whom will we share information?

The Natural Capital Factory will never sell your information to third parties. We may share your information with entities we collaborate with that are directly involved in projects you have expressed interest in, or with those collaborators with whom we jointly develop projects for you/your company under a contractual relationship.

We will have data protection agreements with these organizations to ensure that they cannot use your data for other purposes without your consent.

Your rights

The data protection law offers you several rights regarding how organizations can process your personal data.

Right to be informed: You have the right to be informed about the use that will be made of your personal data, along with the details of the data controller and your rights. When you provide your personal data directly to the Natural Capital Factory, these details will be available at the time your data is obtained.

When the Natural Capital Factory obtains your personal data from a third party, these details will be made available to you within a reasonable period from the data’s acquisition. If your personal data is to be used to communicate with you, these details will be provided no later than when the first communication occurs. If disclosure to another recipient is envisaged, these details will be provided no later than before the data is disclosed. In all cases, notification will be made within one month of receiving your personal data.

Right of access: You have the right to access and obtain a copy of your personal data stored and processed by the Natural Capital Factory, if you so request.

Right to rectification: You have the right to request that the Natural Capital Factory correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to erasure (to be forgotten): You have the right to request that the Natural Capital Factory delete your personal data from its systems and records.

Right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that the Natural Capital Factory stop or restrict the processing of your personal data. This could be, for example, if your personal data is no longer necessary for processing.

Right to data portability:: You have the right to request a copy, in a portable format, of the personal data you have directly provided to the Natural Capital Factory.

Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when the Natural Capital Factory relies on legitimate interest as the legal basis for processing.

How we protect your data

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data and computer devices. Where applicable, we encrypt our data and devices, and confidential information is securely destroyed when no longer needed.

If you are not satisfied with the way the Natural Capital Factory processes your personal data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Office.
